Support for study and research abroad continues: Spring round of the Mobility Fund has been launched

The Faculty of Architecture announces the spring round of the FA Mobility Fund for 2026. Applications can be submitted from March 1 to 31, 2026 via the online form.

The Mobility Fund is a long-term tool to support the internationalization of the faculty and enables students and employees to develop study, research and teaching activities in an international environment. It supports outgoing and incoming visits, short-term and longer stays, participation in conferences and the implementation of international professional events.

Students of bachelor's, master's and doctoral studies, academic and scientific workers, administrative employees with a full-time employment of 0.5 or more, and the faculty itself can apply for a financial contribution - for example, to partially cover the costs associated with the stay of foreign academics. The Fund supports physical departures and arrivals; online mobilities are not funded.

Students heading for a study stay outside Europe can also receive support, for which the Fund contributes to increased travel expenses, up to CZK 25,000. The same amount represents a contribution to participation in a conference within Europe; for conferences outside Europe, the support can reach up to CZK 50,000.

The final amount of the allocated contribution always depends on the total budget of the fund and the number of applications submitted in a particular round. The support is purpose-bound to a specific activity, the implementation date and the expected project outputs. The application can be submitted before the mobility or retrospectively, the autumn round of the Mobility Fund takes place in October.

Last year, the faculty distributed a total of 1,071,000 CZK through the fund – 39% of the fund were received by academic staff, 20% by students and 41% by doctoral candidates. The FA Mobility Fund thus represents stable and significant support for international activities cross the faculty.

Detailed information on the competition conditions and step-by-step instructions for submitting an application are available on the faculty website. If you have any questions, please contact the Mobility Fund coordinator Jarmila Vokounová (jarmila.vokounova@fa.cvut.cz).
