Experience the Faculty Differently: FA ART WEEK Transforms the School’s Surroundings into a Zone for Students and the Public

The project originated as a student initiative with the support of the faculty leadership. Using tactical urbanism methods, it seeks to improve the surroundings of the school building, test the possibilities of underutilized areas, and strengthen their community use. Following smaller events throughout the semester, the week-long festival serves as the culmination of the initiative.

The program spans art, sports, and collaborative activities. It includes musical performances directly on the piazzetta, creative workshops, and a sports tournament. The highlight of the festival will be Thursday's community dinner on Kolejní Street, which will be transformed into a car-free zone and a place for gathering. The festival is open not only to students but also to the general public.

The program also features the Korzo Kolejní event, which offers students space to present and sell their own work in public space. The organizing team is currently looking for university students across all disciplines—from fine arts and design to experimental projects. Interested participants can sign up via an online form.
