Nehvizdy - development without breath

The diploma thesis deals with the landscape of the town of Nehvizdy, which has been influenced by suburban development, intensive agriculture and transport infrastructure for a long time. It analyses the disruption of ecological links, landscape fragmentation and limited permeability of the area and at the same time evaluates the impacts of planned development plans on the landscape structure and environmental quality. The design part formulates the concept of a landscape ecological network and blue-green infrastructure aimed at restoring ecological stability, strengthening the retention capacity of the landscape and connecting the urban area with the surrounding landscape.
