Annotation

This diploma thesis deals with the landscape surrounding Mariánská Týnice, which represents an important example of a historically composed Baroque landscape of the former Plasy estate. Today, the landscape around Mariánská Týnice is significantly affected by intensive agricultural use, the loss of historical landscape structures, and the weakening of its original spatial and compositional relationships. Despite these transformations, the area has preserved numerous cultural and historical traces that continue to shape its identity and represent significant potential for future landscape development. The thesis explores the possibilities of interpreting selected historical principles of the Baroque landscape within a contemporary context and seeks a contemporary approach to landscape design based on historical values, compositional principles, and the relationships between architecture, land use, and landscape.
