Wellness Petynka

The diploma project Wellness Petynka focuses on the design of a public spa building in PragueStřešovice, near the Petynka outdoor swimming pool and an important transportation hub. The building completes the urban structure of Na Petynce Street and divides the site into a park area and a smaller urban square with water features. The architectural concept works with a compact mass oriented toward its own internal environment through atriums, creating a calm wellness palace isolated from the busy surroundings. The project combines water, therapeutic, and relaxation facilities with an active ground floor and high-quality public spaces. Emphasis is placed on a clear operational structure, sustainable technical solutions, and the integration of architecture with the landscape through green roofs and the use of water as a unifying motive.
