This diploma thesis addresses the design of a new senior care home within a Pražské sídliště housing estate, representing the urban completion of the Družba complex. The project infills a gap left by an originally planned but never constructed block of this ensemble, integrating into the existing structure by utilizing a shared parking plinth. The building's structural system adopts the rational 9x9-meter reinforced concrete column grid of the neighboring structures, ensuring the technical unity of the block and providing high variability for the interior layouts. The core architectural concept is based on the geometric contrast between a circle and a square. A circular circulation path runs through the center of the building, wrapping around a central atrium that features mature greenery and ensuring smooth, barrier-free movement without dead ends. Interior wooden volumes containing the accommodation units are inserted into this space, clearly defining the boundary between the private and public spheres. Natural "social pockets" for neighborly interactions are formed where the corridor meets the building's corners.
