Final projects
A niche in the historical center of Prague,
Architecture and Urbanism
Annotation
In the heart of Prague, just off Wenceslas Square, lies a city block that is generous in scale and full of potential yet fragmented, closed off, and difficult to access. There are only two entrances, both ending blindly. You can enter, but you cannot pass through.
And thats a shame. Because I want to pass through. I want to wander between buildings, to lose my sense of direction for a moment, to discover hidden corners and be surprised by what lies beyond the façades. I want to step away from the intensity of Pragues busiest streets, slow down, sit for a while with a cup of tea, or rest beneath a tree and listen to the leaves above. I want to know that just a few meters from the crowds and traffic, there is a place where the city unfolds at a different pace.
This is what makes Prague beautiful. This is its charm. Its ability to reveal unexpected layers quiet, intimate worlds concealed behind its historic fronts. Places that are not immediately visible, yet deeply present. This project invites you to enter that hidden city and to experience Prague from within.
