Art education center and municipal library

The diploma thesis follows on from the diploma seminar developed in the Tichý studio. During this work, I found a number of different approaches, among which I sought inspiration for the solution of the Karlín barracks. The task of the work is the conversion of a historical courtyard building into a creative art center with a library in the Karlín barracks area. The aim of the diploma thesis was to propose a bold solution that respects the historical value of the existing building. To find a suitable arrangement of operations and to justify the interventions in the existing building.
