Regeneration of the ruins of Krakovec Castle

The design part of the diploma project is dedicated to the rehabilitation of house no. 22 in Krakovec and the search for its new use as a tourist center in the immediate vicinity of the Krakovec castle. House no. 22 dates back to at least the mid-17th century and has not undergone any significant modern renovations that would compromise its character, so preserving its historical character is a cornerstone of the design. The building will fill a supporting role for the ruins of the Krakovec castle and will offer new exhibitions for its visitors. The design also includes an outdoor theater for organizing cultural events.
