Renovation of the parterre of the Janovská residential area and the Rýnovka bike park

The subject of the project documentation is an area on the outskirts of the Janovská housing estate in Jablonec nad Nisou, adjacent to a forest and a meadow. Located within the Jizerské Hory Protected Landscape Area, the sloping terrain forms a natural valley enclosed by vegetation. Currently, the site serves as a parking lot without a clear purpose, is constrained by overhead high-voltage and extra-high-voltage power lines, and struggles with limited rainwater infiltration due to granite bedrock. The design aims to transform this area into a multifunctional leisure park that supports community life and connects the urban environment with the landscape. The core feature is a pumptrack track complemented by seating areas, custom concrete installations, and visitor facilities. The project also addresses stormwater management through retention and nature-based measures, adding new plantings, a pathway network, urban furniture, and technical infrastructure.
