U cihLy residential complex - Kadaň

The U cihLy housing complex is located in the town of Kadaňnear its historic centre, in western Czechia. The complex consists of two U - and L-shaped residential buildings that respond to the scale of the surrounding urbanism and create inner courtyards facing the revitalized stream. The buildings have one underground story (garage and technical facilities) , three above-ground stories (community facilities and apartments), and one recessed story. The complex includes 21 apartments of various sizes, each with its own loggia. The façade is divided by recessed loggias, balconies, and brick cladding complemented by burgundy aluminum elements, referencing the local brick tradition and promoting quality urban living.
