Annotation
The main objective of this bachelor's thesis is to develop a comprehensive set of project documentation with an emphasis on the architectural and structural design, structural engineering, fire safety design, building services, interior design, and construction management.
The designed building is a four-story residential house with seventeen residential units, featuring one underground floor, which serves as a collective garage and utility space. The urban concept responds to the conditions of the site situated near the historical town centre and its original pattern.
The structural system of the building is designed as a combined system. In the underground floor is used a column-beam system of monolithic reinforced concrete, in the above-ground stories it changes to bearing walls system ensuring the overall spatial rigidity of the building. The topmost story combines reinforced concrete core with external masonry walls made of thermally insulated ceramic blocks. Due to the foundation placement near the watercourse and challenging geological conditions, the building is founded on deep bored piles.
The thesis includes technical reports, engineering drawings, material and component schedules, structural analysis, and verification of the resistance and stability of key elements. The project documentation is composed according to the requirements of a bachelor's thesis at FA CTU.
