Podbaba Residential Complex

The Podbaba Residential Complex addresses the revitalization of the area between the First Railway Corridor and the Ve StruháchPodbabská intersection. By removing the gas station and the noise barrier, space is created for five residential buildings with a central piazzetta. The extended platform bridges Podbabská Street and improves the connectivity of the area. New passages, wider sidewalks, and speedcalming strips support both pedestrians and cyclists. The standalone buildings with brick façades relate to the architecture of Dejvice and Bubeneč; the ground floor offers services, while the upper floors provide housing of various sizes and comfort levels, with parking located underground. The piazzetta, with greenery, water features, and urban furniture, creates a pleasant public space. The location has excellent transport accessibility and strong potential for future development.
