Hyla Arborea Kadaň

Rosnička is a residential complex located in Špitálské předměstí in Kadaň. Bystřický stream becomes the central motif of the urban area - we bring it back to the surface and create spaces for the public as well as private corners for residents on its banks. The design is based on historical parcelling, respects the scale of the demolished and existing buildings and works with it in a modern context. The structured layout creates several ever changing nooks and crannies. Towards the stream I create semi-private front gardens, in the south, towards the pedestrian zone, I create space for a café and retail. In my bachelor thesis I focus on the northern buildings with apartments, community space and a shop.
