Children's Mental Health Center, Benešov

The Childrens Mental Health Centre project in Benešov combines contemporary architecture with the need to create a calm and safe environment for children and adolescents with mental health difficulties. Located on Longenova Street near the Rudolf and Stefanie Hospital complex, the project responds to the importance of accessible psychological and therapeutic care. The building is designed as a composition of interconnected volumes with an atrium, outdoor recreational areas, and connections to green spaces. The varied roof shapes, colourful facade, and ample natural light contribute to the welcoming and playful character of the building. The floor plan emphasizes clarity, accessibility, and the separation of individual functions. The result is a building that combines the functional healthcare operation of a day care centre with a warm environment designed even for the youngest users, while naturally blending into its surroundings.
