THE BOATHOUSE

The boathouse is designed as a modern, functional building set in the picturesque nature of the village of Roztoky near Křivoklát, in close contact with the Berounka River. The surrounding environment consists of dense forests, wooded slopes, and the calm water surface – a landscape that naturally invites rest, recreation, and sports activities. The boathouse provides facilities for water sports and leisure activities. The ground floor houses boat storage, while the upper floor serves as a social space with a view of the river, complemented by changing rooms and sanitary facilities. From the forecourt of the building, stairs lead directly to the water, connecting the functional and visual axis of the design with the river.
