PÍSEK - RECREATION CENTER OSTROVNÍ

Historic center, river island, cycling... All this is offered by the land where the dilapidated swimming stadium stands today. The entire 15,000 m² area is inaccessible to the public and thus forms an impassable barrier. The aim of this work is to simulate one of many solutions for the direction this piece of land, overflowing with potential, could take. How it could be opened up to the public and provide a place for people to spend their free time. The proposed structure not only serves as a base for individual functions (wellness, swimming in the river, climbing wall, locker rooms, etc.), but also zones the entire area and defines spaces with different characteristics.
