The new block, consisting of the town hall, a shopping arcade, and an administrative building, is bounded to the east by the railway station building, to the west by new residential buildings on Pitterova Street, and to the north by a public park. The town hall and the administrative building are six storeys high, while the shopping arcade separating them has three storeys. Parking is provided on two underground levels beneath the entire block. The façades of the individual parts of the block are designed differently, yet they adhere to a regular, unifying grid; the town hall building has a more pronounced façade in keeping with its function. The eastern part of the block’s ground floor is designed for commercial use, responding to the commercial floor of the station building opposite.
