Family house Proboštov

The design of the family house is located in the village of Proboštov near Teplice in northern Bohemia. The building fully exploits the qualities of the site – a quiet garden with rich greenery, a view of the Ore Mountains and a feeling of “solitude” in the middle of the village. The mass of the house is set into a slope and extended towards the garden, with the ground floor working with different height levels. The main living part of the house is opened to the roof and the garden through a large-format window that connects the interior with the exterior and maximizes the amount of daylight. The house is designed as a 5+kk: living room with kitchen, two bedrooms, children's room and study. The facade and roof are sheathed with black folded sheet metal.
