NOVÉ BUBNY – Apartment building

David Hrdina

Annotation

The corner apartment building stands at the intersection of Bubenská and Šimáčkova streets, the main street facade is oriented west to Bubenská street, the shorter street facade to the north to Šimáčkova street. The building contains mainly 3+kk apartments, as well as studios or 2+kk apartments, and on the last, setback floor there is also a 4+kk apartment. The facade of the building is divided by two large bay windows, a sunken loggia and balconies. The facade itself is made of plaster in a color reminiscent of brick. The house tries to follow the houses that make up the neighboring Malý Berlin development; the entire new block, of which the house is a part, respects the existing characteristic Holešovice block development.
