FROM CITY TO RIVER
Annotation
The project focuses on the development of a selected area in Prague 7, specifically the strip of land between Argentinská Street and the Holešovická Kosa area, in connection with the planned Holešovice–Karlín tram bridge and the transformation of the Bubny–Zátory district. The site forms a transitional interface between the dense urban fabric of Holešovice, the Prague Market complex, and the Vltava riverfront, which is currently underused and functions as a barrier between the city and the river. The aim of the proposal is to refine the urban structure, complete the perimeter block development, and create high-quality public spaces with a direct relationship to the Vltava River.
