KOLB3NKA

The project focuses on the conversion of the historic “Small Foundry” hall in the former ČKD industrial complex in Vysočany, which is threatened with demolition. KOLB3NKA combines the industrial foundry hall with new residential development, reusing existing foundations and load-bearing structures. This approach reduces material consumption, limits construction waste, and enables a faster and more sustainable adaptation of the building. A multifunctional space is created inside the former industrial hall, while three residential buildings rise above it. The design aims to preserve the spirit of industrial Vysočany while responding to the current needs of local residents.
