Still in motion

Still in Motion imagines a calmer, more attentive Potsdam, where moving through the city becomes a gentle sequence of flow and pause. Instead of hard edges and interruptions, the proposal creates comfortable passages for walking and cycling, shaped by water, shade, and small places to linger. A recirculating water network draws from the river and reappears across the centre as a chain of surface water moments connected underground, guiding both atmosphere and orientation. This rhythm unfolds through Stadtcanal, Lustgarten, and Riverside, transforming the garden-colony stretch into a more open, shared riverside landscape.
