Exhibition of Studio Projects

Annotation

Plasy is an important cultural and spiritual center in northern Pilsen region, whose location and historical development have influenced the wider region. For centuries, the monastery in Plasy was the organizational and economic heart of the region, from which a network of settlements, farms, pilgrimage sites, and roads developed. The design is based on the character of the Cistercian Baroque landscape, which was historically shaped by conceptual agriculture, a clear spatial structure, and the connection of the landscape with spiritual and cultural values. The basic goal is to improve the ecological quality of the area and increase its accessibility. The project is therefore based on five pillars: Elements of the Baroque Landscape, Accessibility of the Landscape, Settlements, Water.
