The current form of the Czech Embassy in Berlin resembles a dormant brutalist shell rather than a representative of a modern, open society. The project does not approach this massive volume with an attempt to negate it, but with the aim of uncovering its hidden potential. The result is not merely a reconstruction, but the creation of a vertical city where diplomacy, education, and living do not close themselves off, but enter into a productive dialogue.
