The Former Bus Station Area

Behind the edge of the northern wall belt there is a bus station, which is very oversized. The proposal relocates and reduces it. A safe and cultivated space is created in front of the primary school. Prokopa Velikého Street is diverted, the passage around the building is enlarged, space for K+R is increased. A new development is created in the area of the reservoirs, a smooth transition between the compactness of the historic centre and the loose structure behind it. The area is entered with new greenery. The newly designed park square is dominated by a rain bed providing urban water retention. An alley formed from Alder trees helps screen the road. Parking has been added and cultivated on Dukel Street, and new development has proposed shared underground parking.
