HOTEL SUSICE

At the gateway to Šumava, the hotel revives a site where the original building was demolished during bridge expansion. The project creates a representative bridgehead and revitalizes the embankment above the confluence of the Otava and Roušárka rivers. The hotel offers 28 rooms, a bar, and a restaurant, all closely connected to the river. Its mass follows the embankment, street, and bridge, yet is divided into smaller volumes with a varied roofscape, respecting the historic context. A semi-private atrium links the volumes, blending water sounds with restaurant activity. The basement wellness dips below water level, offering unique views and direct access to Roušárka.
