Annotation

Railway lines generate sets of unintended spaces within the city. Gaps, interruptions, residual areas, and neglected territories that emerge in between precisely planned infrastructure and the resilience of the material city. The project focuses on these fragments as “errors,” understood not as problems to be eliminated but as resources for further transformation. Ten railway lines radiating from Prague Main Station are analyzed as linear archives that record the ways in which the city adapts, responds, and persists in the shadow of railway infrastructure. How might these fragments transform in the future?
