FROM THE CITY TO THE RIVER

The project focuses on developing a selected area in Prague 7, between Argentinská Street and the Holešovice Spit, linked to the Bubny–Zátory transformation and the new Holešovice–Karlín tram bridge. The site forms a key transitional interface between the compact urban fabric of Holešovice, the Prague Market area, and the Vltava riverfront, which currently acts as a barrier. The proposal aims to reshape and enhance the urban structure, complete the block development, and create legible public spaces. A central goal is reconnecting the city with the river, revitalizing the waterfront, and supporting pedestrian, cycling, and public transport networks.
