HOUSE WITH BAKERY

The design of a three-generation house on a corner plot in the historic center of Sušice works with the theme of coexistence and the ability of the house to respond to changes in family life across generations. The architectural design utilizes an interior atrium that brings light into the depth of the square plot and provides residents with a private space protected from the hustle and bustle of the street. While the ground floor with a family bakery and garage remains in contact with the city, the living area for grandparents is elevated to gain the necessary distance from the public space. The upper floor, intended for parents with children, is divided into two wings connected by a terrace. The layout allows for future division into separate residential units while maintaining a common.
