CULTURAL CENTRE IN SUŠICE
Annotation
The northern part of the square in Sušice currently lacks urban vitality and spatial quality, despite its close proximity to the town hall. The proposed cultural centre aims to change this situation and become a new social and cultural hub of the town. On the site of the former butcher stalls, a new building is designed with a multifunctional hall for approximately 250 people, suitable for balls, theatre performances, concerts, film screenings, and lectures. The building responds in its form and massing to the historic surroundings and revitalises the northern frontage of the square.
