FERONA – Building Envelope

The project focuses on the conversion of the listed Functionalist building Ferona. The central theme of the design is the dialogue between preserving the authentic industrial expression and meeting current thermal performance standards. The work technically resolves the conflict between the slender steel structure, the composite ceramic facade, and building physics requirements without suppressing the original architecture, while restoring the building's role as an active urban element.
