Embankment Kadaň

In my design for the Kadaň embankment, I focused on correctly understanding the current Maxipes Fík Embankment and its planned modification, which involves demolishing the weir. This is a crucial step in developing the potential of the embankment area and its proper connection to the city, as it will result in a natural narrowing of the riverbed, and the newly created space between the planned development and the river itself can be offered to the city's residents for recreation or exercise and leisure activities. In the project, I worked with varying elevations and possibilities for access to the river. The design of the embankment itself responds to the loose structure of the riverbank and "stitches" its new form together with the newly constructed buildings.
