The metaphorical return of the water channel

It has been a long time since the water channel in Potsdam was filled in and destroyed. The project shows how a wide strip of public space, currently used mainly as a parking lot, could be utilized. Instead of physically returning water, which is abundant in the area, the project examines people’s behavior around water and analyzes aspects of what people enjoy about being near water. The water is thus not returned physically, but metaphorically.
