Hospital on the edge of town

The design of the metropolitan hospital in Letňany is based on the idea of ​​maximum empathy for the user, especially the patient, who often finds himself in a stressful and vulnerable situation in the environment of a healthcare facility. The aim of the project is to create a hospital that will not be perceived as an anonymous and alienating institution, but as a friendly and urban environment in which the user can easily orientate himself and feel safe. The architectural and urban concept is based on the principles of a city of short distances and a human scale.
