ENVYroment - Zbraslav-Zavist
Annotation
The proposal addresses an area in the valley along the Břežanský Stream beneath Mount Závisť. This site is located near Zbraslav and is significant for its archaeological discovery of a Celtic oppidum. The term oppidum means a settlement or fortress, and for the Celts it represented an exceptional union of four elements: four forces, four elements, and four cardinal directions. The project proposes four pavilions with four colors and four functions. The educational trail begins at a crossroads marked by a tall totem that serves as an orientation and light point. The pavilions are designed as simple concrete structures measuring 7x7x3 meters, with each pavilion’s interior walls painted in a vivid color symbolizing its function.
