New Strahov

The design presents a transformation of the Strahov student accommodation through the addition of new student living blocks. The scheme consists of four main blocks connected by entrances and linking spaces. The slightly offset arrangement of the volumes enhances spatial orientation, clearly defines the function of each part, and creates flexible interior layouts. The ground floor combines living areas with communal facilities, including study rooms, relaxation spaces, and shared kitchens, thereby activating the entry level and supporting community life. On the upper floors, leisure and community spaces gradually give way to predominantly residential units, allowing for a flexible housing layout.
