Urban Housing, Prague 12

The design responds to the qualities of the given site and to the needs of different groups of residents. The combination of starter and urban apartments is proposed with consideration for young people in more challenging life situations, for whom affordable housing is essential, while also addressing local residents by offering commercial spaces and a cultivated pedestrian environment. The pedestrian character of the area and the shared promenade create conditions for natural movement, social interaction, and everyday use of the space without placing unnecessary burden on the surroundings.
