ZUBRNICE - Living differently : between heritage and living landscape

Located in the centre of the village of Zubrnice, the building enjoys a quiet location that is ideal for residential use. Formerly a storage building for the electricity company, the project proposes converting it into housing to support the development of the open-air museum and the arrival of new residents. Breaking with its surroundings, the building has been redesigned to reconnect with its architectural and landscape context. The project is organised around a common area, a workshop and three flat of various types, including a modular flat under the eaves. The raised roof, the work on the openings and the creation of green terraces ensure harmonious integration with the existing building. Inside, comfortable and flexible spaces, offer a new way of living in Zubrnice.
