Annotation

The project opens up the historic heating plant complex near Dvorecký Bridge, adding new public facilities while preserving the ongoing train repair operations. The design makes the site permeable, creating logical connections between the bridge, Dívčí hrady, Zlíchov, and MeetFactory. The use of decommissioned shipping containers underscores the technical character of the location and the principle of re-use. The new container area is divided into two zones. The permanent zone consists of insulated modules for a hostel and a café. The second part is a flexible space featuring a grid of footings for temporary containers. This setup allows for the flexible hosting of seasonal events by rearranging the containers. The entire space thus functions as a versatile addition to the historic buildi
