VIMPERK HOUSING

Our topic for this semester was the revitalization of a brownfield in the city of Vimperk. The plot currently houses workshops and storage spaces, adjacent to a secondary school. Five of us worked on the joint urban planning of the plot and we divided it into three parts according to the function of the building. The apartment building is designed as a multifunctional object that combines housing with public and semi-public facilities. The first floor is intended for commercial spaces, a children's group for children and parking. The second floor is divided into two wings - one contains studios, the other rooms for coworking and workshops. These two floors are operationally connected by a staircase embedded in the platform. The third and fourth floors are typical with apartments.
