KINDERGARTEN OF NOVEMBER 8

The kindergarten is located in Břevnov on a steep triangular slope facing north. The composition of the building is based on this atypical shape of the plot - the shape and steepness of the plot are reflected in the internal layout. As the building covers nearly the whole plot, the atrium and the walkable roof provide space for outdoor play. The kindergarten is designed for 3 classes, each with a maximum capacity of 24 children. The main entrance for children with parents is on the 2nd floor from 8.listopadu street, while the other two entrances are for staff on the 1st and 2nd basement level from U Kaštanu street. The 1st and 2nd floors are for children's area, the other floors are used for operational purposes.The central feature of the entire building is a circular staircase.
