F1 Ready: Masaryk Circuit
Annotation
Speed and prestige. Landscape and people. For more than four decades, the Masaryk Circuit in the Podkomorské Forests has been a venue of international motorsport. Thanks to its location within approximately three hours of Vienna, Prague, and Bratislava, it holds exceptional potential in the European context. Major events such as MotoGP attract over 120,000 visitors during a race weekend. The gently sloping track offers an engaging experience for both drivers and spectators. Today, the circuit operates primarily from March to November. The project therefore asks: what comes next? By diversifying its functions, following the example of European circuits—through the addition of a technology park, showroom, and members’ club—the site becomes active beyond race events.
