My assignment was to design residential housing on a plot located in the wider center of Prague, designated for the construction of apartment buildings.The site is an unenclosed area with an excess of traffic, yet at the same time it offers the calm of the Vltava riverbank.The proposed apartment building is part of an urban block and is therefore designed to function well compositionally and in its placement in relation to the surrounding buildings within the block.The structure is divided into three volumes: two residential parts with apartments of various sizes,ranging from studios (1+kk) to three-room units (3+kk),and a central part containing commercial and public functions.This central volume serves as a connecting space for meeting and relaxation between the two residensial houses.
