Tribune Hotel

Annotation

The Tribune Hotel organizes spectating as a layered architectural condition. Balconies open toward both the racetrack and the fan zone, allowing views of speed and collective atmosphere to coexist within the building envelope. Spectatorship is embedded into inhabitation, where private rooms extend outward into spaces of observation, pause, and social exchange. In contrast, the paddock-facing volume remains introverted and balcony-free, prioritizing rest, efficiency, and operational clarity for staff and teams. The project operates through gradients of exposure and privacy rather than a singular iconic gesture. Private terraces and shared balcony bands offer varying degrees of engagement, while internal circulation and accommodation align daily routines with the temporal rhythm of the race.
