The fan zone is conceived as a central social and experiential space within the Formula One circuit, active during both race weekends and the off-season. During Grand Prix events, it serves as the main gathering area for spectators, hosting live race screenings, driver interviews, public talks, and meet-and-greet sessions while teams operate nearby in the paddock. Its close proximity allows drivers to access fan events easily without interrupting race activities. Beyond race weekends, the fan zone functions as a year-round urban platform, accommodating concerts, open-air screenings, festivals, brand events, and community uses. Adjacent to the fan zone, the tribune hotel features balconies oriented toward the event space, enabling guests to experience activities from a private setting.
