The building might remind you of a spaceship or something else. The main issue is that it is empty. It needs life, purpose, and people. We are opening it with a library connected to a café and the Czech Center where locals and visitors can meet. The embassy and consulate stay in a quieter area so official operations don’t mix with the public space. The 4th and 5th floors house apartments designed for sharing and friendly neighborly relationships while also providing quiet when needed. A sense of community develops naturally. We want the apartments to be affordable yet high-quality. We make efficient use of space, find ways to make it interesting, recycle materials, and preserve the building’s character, which now finally breathes life again.
