THE HORNED ROHAN

The residential building on Rohanský Island is based on the urban study of the new block development and responds to the specific character of Karlín. Drawing on the area’s industrial past, the design translates principles of simplicity, robustness, and clear structure into contemporary housing. The aim is to create an urban yet calm living environment—a building that naturally integrates into the block while offering shelter from the surrounding bustle. A wide range of apartment types addresses diverse needs, from individuals to families, and is complemented by community spaces that support everyday social interaction. The project balances shared and private spaces, openness to the city and the intimacy of living, creating a sustainable and high-quality residential environment.
