MULTI-GENERATIONAL HOUSING
Annotation
The Re:Vimperk project explores the reinterpretation of housing within a single urban parcel. Multi-generational housing is integrated with an apartment building, an inner courtyard, a childcare facility, and an assisted-living facility, creating a layered structure that responds to changing life situations. The multi-generational living area consists of two residential buildings. Their ground floors face the inner courtyard and function as independent apartments, while the two-storey family units are accessed from the elevated outer edge, continuing the surrounding context. The northern building is fully accessible across three storeys and adapted for multi-generational living, while the southern building includes a self-contained ground-floor apartment offering greater privacy.
