W25 - Apartement building at the Rohan island

The design of the W25 apartment building was created on the basis of an urban study of the development of Rohanský ostrov in Prague - Karlín by Ing. arch. Pavel Hnilička. The house is located in block C.III and responds to its location at the end of a dead-end street and direct contact with the river promenade and close proximity to the river. The ground floor is a commercial parterre located with entrances to the street and the river promenade. The facade of the house is austere, designed with structured plaster in shades of white and windows placed and designed in a simple rectangular grid with a recognized storey in the form of raised mezzanine cornices. The house thus tries to fit into the visually exposed environment by the park and the river surroundings.
